Nanette Lowe is the Executive Director of Human Resources for the Archdiocese of Washington. With over 23 years of experience in Administration and Human Resources, Nanette brings a wealth of expertise that allows her to support pastors, parishes and schools in the Archdiocese. Prior to joining ADW in 2014, Nanette worked for the Eurasia Foundation, an international NGO who promotes civil society and democratic reform in the former Soviet Union where she provided human resources leadership to their head office in Washington DC as well as 13 overseas offices. She then created the human resources infrastructure for a startup organization Securiport, who assists with border control around the globe through biometrics.
Her experiences and love for the Church brought Nanette to the Archdiocese of Washington where her primary responsibility is to serve the Church and to promote a pastoral and human approach to caring for employees while also balancing the compliance and legal landscape. In addition to overseeing health and welfare benefits, organizational development, recruitment, employee relations and all aspects of Human Resources, Nanette is actively involved in implementing Catholic Identity initiatives for the Archdiocese of Washington. Nanette and her husband Michael have been married for 20 years, have two daughters Maari a freshman attending Salisbury University and Tori a freshman attending Archbishop Spalding High School and active parishioners at St. Pius X Church. Nanette earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
