Ms. Favre graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1986. In 1995, The Diocese of Beaumont employed Ms. Favre as the Accounts Receivable Clerk. Along with serving as account receivable clerk, she performed all duties within accounting for 18 years. She performed the duties of payroll clerk, accounts payable clerk, Staff Accountant, Assistant Accounting Manager and Accounting Manager and was integral part in collaborating with the Diocesan Stewardship Department on the Annual Appeal. Since 2004, she has been an integral part of building an Accounting Service for the Diocese. In July 2013, Bishop Curtis Guillory created the Multi-Parish / School Accounting (MPSA) Department and Ms. Favre was named Director for this department. Currently the Diocese of Beaumont Multi-Parish/School Accounting Department employs four accountants and an accounting clerk. The Accounting Service operates at 29 locations, which include three schools. Ms. Favre continues to promote the MPSA Department among the priests of the Diocese of Beaumont and is an advocate for this Service among other (Arch) Dioceses.
Along with the duties above, Ms. Favre collaborates with the Diocese of Beaumont Information Technology Department in transitioning to new Accounting and Church software that utilize a Virtual Machine concept and helped in creating a universal e-mail domain for all essential staff at the parishes and schools. Ms. Favre collaborates with the Diocese of Beaumont Human Resources to streamline the required paperwork for new hire employees.
