Suzanne Nunn

Monday, Concurrent Sessions IV-V C

Suzanne has worked for almost 10 years at the Orange Catholic Foundation, working closely with board and volunteer committees to establish, protect and preserve the endowment fund holdings. Her most recent project involves working closely with canon and civil lawyers to protect the Foundation assets and holdings from potential claims. This entails identifying areas of vulnerability and eliminating or addressing the issues in order to protect assets against uses other than those intended by the donors – whether this malfeasance is done by someone responsible for the Foundation or by some other authority.

Suzanne works closely with Foundation committees in the establishment and preservation of Endowment Funds. This includes governing documents; policies and guidelines regarding gift acceptance, investment, distributions and fund agreements; and endowment structure and various types of endowment. This work involves working closely with the Diocesan and Foundation Finance office to create a well-structured line of communication.

Suzanne is currently a Board member for the YMCA of Long Beach, chairs the Endowment Committee and an Investment Committee member. Suzanne and her husband Charlie are members St. Timothy parish in Laguna Niguel, CA. They enjoy visiting their 6 children and 11 grandchildren scattered across the US.
