Dan Last has over a decade of experience working on energy projects and energy project finance. His area of expertise is building programs that help organizations reduce energy waste, save money and sustain these savings for the long term. An entrepreneur by nature, Dan has been the Chief Operating Officer of Catholic Energies since 2017, and is also the founder and managing partner of Procurement Development Group, a multi-disciplinary consultancy helping building owners simplify, expedite and pay for energy technology upgrades in their buildings.
Prior to this, Dan served as a Senior Manager for AtSite, Inc., where he led teams of data scientists, analysts and engineers developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for clients looking to use data to more effectively manage their buildings and reduce their energy waste. Dan has an MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder’s Leeds School of Business, as well as a Master of Education, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from Boston College. Prior to working in the energy field, Dan was a high school teacher and college administrator. He lives in Virginia with his wife, two sons, Sammy and Charlie, and their two dogs, Henry and Ollie.
