For those sponsors who will be joining us for the 2024 DFMC Annual Meeting, please refer to the following details. The Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference (DFMC) Annual Meeting will be held September 29-October 2nd at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, San Diego, California. We welcome you as an important collaborator in our ministry to the Church!

Honoring Returning Approved Sponsors And Priority In the Exhibit Hall
Last year's returning Sponsored Partners at the $10,000 + level will be provided the opportunity to participate in the exhibit booth pre-sale as "full protection" on paid renewals received by the DFMC National Office beginning Monday, March 4th until COB on Wednesday, March 6th with new exhibitors being accommodated thereafter.

"Full protection" guarantees a booth, but not the specific booth type. Platinum and Gold booths are first come, first served. 2023 Platinum Sponsors are not eligible for a Platinum Booth in 2024. A concerted effort is made to place booth assignments (a) with spacing between similar exhibitors, where possible; and (b) using total sponsorship levels when multiple exhibitors request the same booth assignments.

Official DFMC Sponsored/Events Exclusivity
No alternative events may be scheduled or sponsored during the Conference program element, including liturgies.

Sponsor Fee
The non-refundable sponsored event fee at the Friends, Red, White, and Blue level is payable at signing and submission of contract. Since sponsored events are purchased as a first come, first served bases, we encourage sponsors to pay by credit card. If you must pay by check, please make your check payable to Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference. Booth reservations are non-refundable. Payments by credit card will be charged a 2.9% credit card processing fee.

Acknowledgment is made hereby of the receipt of the Sponsorship Brochure, which is incorporated with this contract as the governing directives for the show. DFMC reserves the right to approve sponsors to be invited.

CODE OF CONDUCT

By attending the DFMC Conference, all participants including representatives of sponsoring/exhibiting organizations agree to personal conduct of the highest caliber. DFMC is both a Catholic conference and a professional association meeting, so the behavior of all involved should reflect both professional decorum and that of a Christian gentlemen or gentlelady. There will be zero tolerance for verbal harassment, bullying, or attempts to intimidate; be these in person or in email or other digital format. All DFMC Conference rules, policies and instructions must be observed, along with hotel policies and applicable law. If DFMC officials receive reports that a participant has failed to abide by this code of conduct, then the DFMC may take whatever actions it deems appropriate, including, for example, expulsion from the conference without refund, notification of the offending person’s superiors, and disqualification from attending future events. Any questions regarding the Code of Conduct should be directed to the Executive Director.

SPONSORED EVENT

Sponsoring an event at the DFMC annual meeting is a great way to show the DFMC membership your organization’s support. It also gives premium name recognition and opportunities for encounter with participants.

Company Publications
All materials distributed must represent the services provided by the registered sponsor only. Representation of and distribution of materials by or for affiliated firms is not allowed.


“Sharing” of Sponsorships
One organization per sponsorship. Combining or “sharing” of sponsorships is not allowed.

Signage
For specialized signage or event materials, opportunities to give away information, or set locations in which to encounter participants, sponsors are asked to coordinate with the DFMC meeting planner: raquel@goldenrulemeetings.com. DFMC will work to accommodate requests but since all events are coordinated with the conference hotel and vendors, restrictions will apply.

ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE

Sponsoring an event allows attendance during the sponsored event only and within the limits set forth below.

Registration - Sponsor Badge And Conference Packet
The sponsor’s packet, including badges and other conference materials, can be picked up at the Registration Desk and will only be available on the day of the sponsored event. Each representative must pick up their own badge.

(Representatives must wear their badge at all times.)

Access to DFMC Conference Outside of Sponsored Event
The DFMC Conference is a professional association Membership Meeting and conference sessions, meals, beverage breaks, etc. are open to DFMC Conference Members only.

Exceptions:

  1. Representatives of exhibitors or sponsors whose total sponsorship exceeds $10,000 may attend General Sessions of the Conference only.
  2. New -Starting in 2024, each exhibit/sponsor organization may purchase no more than two (2) tickets to lunch on Tuesday, October 1st for use by up to two representatives.
    • Representatives must have a ticket to be admitted to the October 1st lunch. 
    • October 1st Lunch tickets are $95 each, and must be purchased no later than Friday, August 30th. 
    • Tuesday Lunch tickets will not be available for sale under any circumstances in September or on-site at the conference in San Diego. 
  3. Representatives are invited and strongly encouraged to attend Catholic liturgies, sacramental offerings, and visit the Adoration Chapel during their day of their sponsored event.

  1. Friends Level: Two (2) representatives allowed at the Friends Level – [Attending]
  2. Red, White & Blue Level: Four (4) representatives allowed to register with up to two (2) additional representatives may be registered at $250 each.
  3. White & Blue Level: Five representatives allowed with up to two (2) additional representatives may be registered at $250 each.
