The position is responsible for management of disaster response services and administers the DOV Hurricane Harvey Relief program through April 30, 2020. The grant funded Disaster Services Manager position is responsible for management of disaster response services through April 30, 2020.
The position administers the DOV Hurricane Harvey Relief program; manages the timely and accurate receipt/distribution of the House in a Box® program; represents the DOV at Long Term Recovery Group meetings, and other duties as assigned. This position also provides indirect case management services to disaster survivors and their families through advocacy, information and referral, crisis intervention services, and recovery services.
Position is security sensitive that requires extreme confidentiality, care, and trust.
The work will be carried out in a controlled, agreeable environment as generally represented by normal office conditions. In times of disaster response, working conditions may vary.
