The Most Reverend Thomas Luke Msusa was born on 2nd February 1962 at Iba Village, Mangochi District. He was ordained priest of Montfort Missionaries on 3rd August 1996 at St. Augustine Cathedral in his home district. After serving the Lord in various capacities as a Montfort Missionary, he was appointed Bishop of Zomba Diocese on 19th December 2003. He was consecrated on 17th April 2004. On 21 November 2013, Bishop Msusa was appointed Archbishop of Blantyre and was installed on 8th February 2014. His motto “That they may be one” (ut unum sint). He currently serves as the president of the Malawi Conference of Catholic Bishops.
