Matt is the Faculty Director for the Center for Church Management and a Professor of Practice in the Department of Management and Operations at the Villanova University School of Business. His responsibilities include the Master of Science in Church Management degree, part of the #1 ranked online graduate business degree program by U.S. News and World Report, the Certificate in Church Management programs, and research and writing on relevant church management issues. The Center is very proud to partner with the Diocesan Fiscal Managers Conference to support the CDFM exam and CPE programming.
Prior to joining Villanova, Matt was a Strategic Business Unit Director for the Franklin Mint and was responsible for a $100 million line of diecast collectible cars. He also spent 18 years with the Catholic Leadership Institute and served as President and CEO for 13 years.
Matt has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Church Management from Villanova. He and his wife, Kerri, live outside of Philadelphia and have three children. In his free time, Matt enjoys marathons, triathlons, and rooting for the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
